With the exception of its plastic base, every part of the enclosure of a PM Series speaker is part of the system's sound technology. The 14mm thin profile highlights the uniqueness of Level9’s Planar Audio Technology. Tangram principal designer Rob Johnston worked on the PM series as a member of the Karo Design Team. The PM9 and PM14 were recognized at the Consumer Electronics Association's annual CES Conference receiving an Innovations 2003 Award.
