Tangram Design teamed up with TribalDDB and the BC Dairy Foundation to create a series of products "for those feeling a little weaker than normal".
Research showed that teens understand the long-term strength benefits
of milk, but they don't always grasp the short-term gain - the fact that
milk gives you energy. DDB Canada creatively paired this insight with
the broader societal desire for short cuts, best exemplified by the explosion
of gadgets and miracle tools featured in infomercials and stores. The
result - a series of 10 hilarious products that now star in a number of
viral infomercials and pop-up shops.
While the concepts themselves might appear a bit silly - it took some
serious work to design, develop and prototype all of the items in a timeline
more typical to advertising than product development. Tangram Design was
responsible for developing the product concepts, mock-ups, mechanical
design and prototype production.
